Claim Window Revision for FBA Lost and Damaged Inventory Reimbursement Policy

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW CAN WE CHECK THE STATUS OF INVENTORY AS DAMAGED OR LOST FROM MY PANEL?

Dear Seller,

We would like to remind you that the claim window period for FBA Lost and Damaged Inventory Reimbursement Policy will be revised starting January 1, 2016. With this change, you will need to submit claims for the items that are missing from inbound shipments within 60 days of the shipment delivery to Amazon Fulfilment Centre. All other claims for lost or damaged inventory will have to be submittedwithin 60 days of the damage.

Since retention of mandatory documents required for reimbursement claims is limited to 60 days, claims submitted within this window can get processed faster. It will also increase the chance of reimbursement being awarded in your favour.

Once the inventory is at the FBA it can hardly be lost.
If its damaged after that, you will get the reimbursement automatically.

The mail that amazon has sent is regarding the shipment delivered. When the inventory sent by you is different from inventory received at the FBA, then you need to claim within 60 days.
