Unclaimed Policy
#1
Now THE NEW

Unclaimed Goods Policy
What is Unclaimed Good?
Items in the following scenarios constitute Unclaimed Goods.
1. Seller-SUPCs with defined ageing > 60 days and fulfilling the following
conditions:
a. Communication about the ageing of the stock is communicated to the
seller though seller panel/email.
b. Warehouse slot has not been booked even after 7 calendar days post
the information to collect stocks.
c. Failure to report at the designated time at the warehouse for 2 times.
2. QC rejected Seller-SUPCs and ageing from date of GRN > 30 days and
fulfilling the following conditions:
a. Communication about the ageing of the QC reject is communicated to
the seller though seller panel/email.
b. Warehouse slot has not been booked even after 7 calendar days post
the information to collect stocks.
c. Failure to report at the designated time at the warehouse for 2 times.
3. Seller Receivables outstanding for more than 30 days/months
a. Communication about the ageing of aged debit balances for greater
than 1 month is communicated to the seller though seller panel/email.
b. Seller does not pay back the amount then Snapdeal may exercise the
right to liquidate the goods. Liquidation may fetch the value as per
normal process of Snapdeal and realisation value will be adjusted
against the Debit balances
c. Any excess realisation over and above to Debit balances will be paid
back to seller online to sellers registered bank account.
Action on Unclaimed Goods
Once a Seller-SUPC has been marked as unclaimed good, Snapdeal will not bear
any liability for the SUPC. Snapdeal will be free to remove it from the warehouse and
dispose it without any seller dispute or claim being entertained.

I have few question which i need reply from snapdeal

If warehouse is register in my name (Additional place of business) who is snapdeal/ valcun to liquidate or sale my goods?

I talk with Sd+ manager he said, no where we have mention that we will sell the goods, but if you come to pick after dead line they will not give my goods,

He also mention if goods are damage we are not responsible for that also,

Can anyway we can file a legal case or sue them for our goods, if we dont get form our own warehouse?

Sir, warehouse is not ours. We are showing it as additional place from where our business takes place. In this case, snapdeal is a warehouse manager. He has all the rights to do the above after following the above mentioned procedure.

Having said that,
I fear that snapdeal will now goof up in another of its policy
They will either forget to intimate, or themselves delay appointments
As these guys are system driven for time but manual driven for execution, we will be stuck between system deadlines and manual delays.
Also, snapdeal would not take a request for allowing extra time even for genuine reasons.

Main point is, they are ecom companies, their job is not to run warehouses, they cannot do both work at the same time.
