Voonik Forcing Sellers To Participate In Promotions

Hello Members,

Recently all sellers selling on VOONIK got a mail regarding participation in promotion of Chirstmas sale between 25th to 31st December.  And There was a link to participate in promotion.

Now Voonik is calling those sellers who haven't participated in promotions and telling them to either participate in promotions or they will make our listings Inactive.

As a marketplace they can't force sellers to participate in promotions. And also in the MOU we signed while launching our Brand on Voonik says that


Quote:"Voonik Ensures our customers get an awesome shopping experience & for this we will invite Specific sellers based on their performance to be a part of voonik's promotions. For the same we will give special discounts up to 20% on selling price of the products which will be borne by the (SELLER NAME). It will be the seller's call if they want to be a part of the campaign/promotion which may last somewhere between 6 hours to 24 hours a week."

We have also got an email to participate in promotion else listing will get inactive

I also got email and then today got call abt deactivation of listings if no participation in promotions

But is this allowed? Similiar mails are received from snapdeal also. What if we dont want to get discounts on a few branded products.

We appreciate that Voonik has deputed you to represent on behalf of them to AIOVA.

We would like to point out :
1) A few sellers have received a phone call from Voonik representatives to either participate in the promotions with discounts or delist products until the promotion ends.
2) We have requested sellers to escalate the problem to ss@voonik.com and at the same time to escalate on the forum.

We request you to solve the matter and give calrifications and assurances publicly on the forum regarding point 1 mentioned above.

We are working on the integration. It will take sometime. Once it's completed, we will send out a formal communication to all our registered marketplace sellers.
